Chanting Competition

Chinmaya Mission's annual Bhagavad Gita competition, which is conducted by its worldwide centers for children, youth and adults consists of thousands of participants each year. In our Yamunotri Center we had 65 participants all together. The competion was held on April 26th, 2008 at our Yamunotri Center.

The Gita, which teaches the Supreme Truth and the art of living, has inspired millions of people including great world leaders and achievers.

Chapter 7 - Gyana Vigyana (Knowledge and Wisdom)

In chapter 7 Gyana Vigyana, Lord Sri Krishna has emphasized and indicated beyond all doubts, how vedantic perfection could be achieved and lived to the glory of the successful seeker and to the blessing of the generation in which he lived. It is most appropriate therefore, that the chapter is named as " The Yoga of Knowledge and Wisdom".
