Yamunotri Pravesh

Please join us for the inauguration ceremony of the new facility for Yamunotri: “Chinmaya Yamunotri Pravesh”. The inauguration celebrations will span two days, Saturday, December 1 and Sunday, December 2, 2007. There are several ways that you can participate. The Moorti Sthapana of the Shri Radha Krishna idols will take place in August 2008 in the blessed presence of Pujya Swami Tejomayanandaji.

Chinmaya Mission classes were started in Northern Lake County on October 2, 1999 with 32 Bala Vihar students and one adult study group. The center now known as Yamunotri has a current enrollment of over 250 Bala Vihar students and 4 adult study groups. The time tested curriculum inculcates and strengthens noble values in children and adults alike.

Facilities at Yamunotri

Our beautiful new Yamunotri is about 19,000 sq ft and has two floors. The entrance is on the east side of the building.

The Main floor includes the Shrine for Shri Radha Krishna, stage for cultural activities, office and Acharya's quarters.
