The Chinmaya Mission Chicago - Yamunotri meets on Saturdays from 2:30 to 4:45 pm for a united goal, to better understand "the wisdom of Vedanta and the practical means for spiritual growth and happiness, thus becoming positive contributors to society".

Value-based, character molding Bala Vihar classes are offered for grades pre-K to 12, based upon the time-tested guidelines as prescribed by Pujya Gurudev, Swami Chinmayananda. Bhagavad-Gita Discourse by Swamiji and discussion groups are offered for adults.

Note: Starting from December 08, 2007 Bala Vihar classes will be held at Yamunotri site.

Facilities at Yamunotri

Our beautiful new Yamunotri is about 19,000 sq ft and has two floors. The entrance is on the east side of the building.

The Main floor includes the Shrine for Shri Radha Krishna, stage for cultural activities, office and Acharya's quarters.
