President's Service Award for High Schoolers
Chinmaya Mission Yamunotri is approved as an official Certifying Organization for the President's Volunteer Service Award! We will begin with awarding this award to our High Schoolers who are registered in Bala Vihar.
Seva is a Sanskrit word meaning selfless service, and perhaps considered the most important part of any spiritual practice. It lies at the heart of the path of karma yoga—selfless action—and asks us to serve others with no expectation of outcome. This award is a small recognition for our exceptional volunteers working with the sevabhav (feeling of selfless service).
